The Margaretta Local School District is in western Erie County and eastern Sandusky County. We educate over 1,100 students in grades PK-12, and are proud to be a district of choice with positive open enrollment numbers. For the 2023-2024 school year we continue to carry out our strategic plan focusing on academic achievement, climate and career development for our students. We are proud to have received one of 25 Literacy & Learning grants of $200,000 that is being used to carry out our Literacy Initiative. Although we are a small district, we are a community that takes great pride in our extra-curricular activities and the successes we have had in the past and also the most recent years.
