Parent Organizations


The Margaretta Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is an organization for parents and or guardians of elementary school-age children. The goal is to work together to help our children's school years be happy, fulfilling and educational. The PTO has raised money in the past to help pay for COSI on Wheels, playground equipment and new books for the library, just to name a few.

PTO meetings are open to all parents and/or guardians to get their opinion on what we can do to improve our organization. Please come join our meeting and give us your opinions on how we can make a difference for our children. We provide babysitting and refreshments, so please join us.

Margaretta PTO meeting are held the 1st Monday of the month at 6:00 in the Margaretta Elementary School Library.

Market Day is a monthly fundraising program organized by the PTO. Market Day offers a wide variety of foods including meat, vegetables, breakfast items, snacks and desserts. For a full listing please go online at

Market Day is open to all Margaretta residents, family, friends and community members. It is a fundraiser of everyday foods, something that is needed in our everyday life. Orders can be placed online at by entering the Code 25605 for Margaretta Schools, or by the order forms which are available at Margaretta Elementary School. Orders are then picked up at Margaretta Elementary cafeteria. Please check the back of the order forms or the website for specific pickup dates and times.
