- On Monday, September 13, 2010 at the 57th Annual Meeting and Banquet for the Erie County Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors, Margaretta Elementary first grade teacher, Mrs. Ann Ball, received special recognition from this organization as Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Ball showed a genuine interest and enthusiasm for teaching sciences in her classroom. She was cited as an exemplary role model in promoting healthy lifestyles in which we interact with mother nature on a daily basis. Congratulations Mrs. Ball!
