The School Spirit program is designed to provide schools an opportunity to raise money for supplies, extracurricular activities and other needs within their school. The program is co-sponsored by the Sandusky Mall and Ohio Business College. Every dollar spent at the mall and surrounding out parcels equates to one point, with the exception of double points week.
The first session of School Spirit is January 1-June 30, and the second sesion is July 1-December 31. $5000 total is given away each session; first place is $2500, second place is $1500 and third place is $1000. This free money is to use for whatever benefits our schools.
Mix 102.7 FM makes it even easier.
One School, One Book
Starting May 1st, our school will be embarking on a special project, a community-wide book club called One School, One Book™. Every family will receive a copy of the same book – The World According to Humphrey, by Betty G. Birney – and will be asked to read it together at home over the next few weeks. We are personally asking parents to make the time so that every family can participate in this special activity. Be sure to check out the live chapter readings and questions on this page. Don’t forget to visit our participating area businesses.
Thank you to Martha Holden Jennings Grant Foundation who helped to make One School, One Book a possibility!
